AFKA has contracted with MailChimp for the provision of software and data storage used to collect, transfer, process and store personal information for the purposes of maintaining an Email Distribution List (the “List”). The List will only be used by AFKA to contact subscribers for the following purposes:
- Provide updates regarding the work that the AFKA is doing to support caregivers, on AFKA programs, services or training as well as sharing of third-party training/resources which may be beneficial/applicable to the foster/kinship care community;
- To recruit AFKA program volunteers/participants
- Request input through surveys to better support foster and kinship caregivers
- Provide updates regarding the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Children’s Services policy and procedures and/or practice guidance; and
- Provide information regarding child intervention information sessions or training.
MailChimp is an email marketing services company located in the United States of America (“USA”). All personal information collected for purposes related to the List will be stored and accessed in the USA.
